Little girl

Girl little girl remember the sun shining down on your face and how its rays would light your path. The sun would glow and you would dance below it because it brought you joy.

Girl little girl now a woman do you remember how to be happy? Happily ever after they told you your life would be. They forgot to mention the constant tears the world could bring.

Woman don't you remember the love in your heart. Your love once use to overflow so naturally. You wore your heart on your sleeve for all to see. Your heart was your identity.

Daughter do you remember how your heart got damaged? The tears were real and all you gained was pain. You managed to make it through your broken heart. Now have the courage to start.

Young Lady full of light full of sparkle and delight remember when you use to laugh. When you laughed you showed the world your true beauty. The style and grace of your smile made people want to stay for a while.

Honey open up that heart and push aside the pain that has brought you here.Don't let the world's words corrupt and rot your thoughts. Instead let the world's pressures bring you strength.  Be beautiful and infect the world with your joy and grace.

Not so happily ever after.

Don't get me wrong by the title of my blog I am not anti fairytale. I just believe that fairytales don't always end happily. Sometimes they do, but sometimes they're tragic. If you don't believe that then let me just let you know that Disney has been lying to you.

Let me welcome you to my world of not so happily ever after. My world has its happy moment and it has it hardships. Life is hardships and I know I wouldn't have character without it. I need the hardship to obtain the happy moments. The hardship is just as beautiful as the happiness. The reason trials carry beauty is because they transform us into the people were meant to be. Without them we would never be able to push ourself out of our comfort zones and reach those moments of happiness. I hope you all will enjoy seeing my beautiful transformation through the hardship. The journey will be filled with joy, laughter, tears, fears, and a little perseverance. By the end I will be mature, complete, and not lacking anything.
